Spoiler alert: it's going to be fun fun fun! Some practitioners might feel a slight pressure in their head while using the FeetUp® Trainer for the first time. If this is the case for you, remember your body needs some time to adjust to the unfamiliar inverted position and the blood flow that comes with it. With regular practice, you will become used to the changes in your blood flow and begin to enjoy the warm soothing sensation.

We would recommend to start with several short inversions a day for only a few seconds. Then gradually increase your inversion time over the course of several weeks. Remember to listen to your body as to when you should bring your feet back to the floor.

Why? Because headstands are a leading cause for neck injuries and don't allow for a gentle progression. More and more yoga schools are adopting the FeetUp® Trainer in their classes because they want to develop their own practice, keep their students safe, and minimize the risks of injury while maximizing fun and enjoyment.
In a load-bearing test at Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, the FeetUp® Trainer endured a load of 900 lbs (400 kg). The maximum official load that we recommend is 250 lb (114 kg) bodyweight. This recommendation applies because of how the body might react when inverted if over 250 lbs(114 kg).
